Ah, September – that time of year when we think of things starting up again after the summer lull. It’s also a time to try out new things – like singing in the choir or coming to RMD on Wednesdays. So here’s something else to try out. For those of you who like to go online, you could join me in feeding the hungry, helping the homeless, saving the rainforest, and much more with just one minute a day! For the last ten years, every time I go online – before I even let myself check my email – I go to www.thehungersite.com . Once there I click on the button that says ‘click here’ to feed the hungry. Then I can go to the other seven folders to do the same – I can do it all in just a minute (used to take five minutes). What a great feeling – and all it cost me was a minute! The advertising sponsors are the ones who pay the money to these charities. Just a warning – if you stop to read all the neat stuff on those websites or to shop it will take longer than a minute!
